Narendra Modi To Reach Bhubaneswar Today On 2-Day Odisha Visit For BJP Campaign; Check His Itinerary

Bhubaneswar: With electioneering getting further galvanised for the twin polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bhubaneswar on Sunday on a two-day visit to Odisha to brighten the prospects of BJP candidates in the state.

As per the tentative tour programme, Modi is scheduled to come from Kalaikunda in West Bengal by an IAF aircraft and arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar at 6.30 pm.

Soon after arrival, the PM Modi will proceed to Raj Bhavan in the capital city. He is likely to hold a meeting with state BJP leaders and spend the night in Raj Bhavan.

On Monday, the Prime Minister is slated to leave Bhubaneswar around 7.25 am for Puri. Modi is slated to hold a roadshow in the pilgrim town for an hour from 8 am to 9 am. Elaborate security arrangements have been made in Puri for the roadshow.

After the roadshow, Modi will take a chopper to Angul where he is slated to address a public meeting at Stadium Field Ground from 10.15 am to 10.55 am. He sill seek people’s support foro BJP candidates for Dhenkanal Lok Sabha seat and Assembly segments under it.

Thereafter, the PM will leave for Cuttack and address an election rally at Kila Padia from 12 noon to 12.40 pm  to garner support for BJP candidates.

This will be Modi’s third visit to the state in a span of two weeks during the ongoing Lok Sabha and assembly elections.

During his earlier visits, Modi had said BJD’s expiry date was set on June 4 and an Odisha-born Chief Minister from BJP will take oath in the state on June 10.

The PM had also challenged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to name the 30 districts of Odisha without referring to any written text.

While the first phase of polling was held in the state on May 13, three more rounds are slated to be held on May 20, 25 and June 1.
