New Delhi: Odia feature film ‘Adieu GODARD’, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Amartya Bhattacharyya, is all set to hit theatres in New Delhi on Friday.
According to sources, people in the national capital will be able to watch the movie at PVR Promenade in DLF Promenade Mall in Vasant Kunj. The movie tickets can be booked at Rs 75 only as the day is being celebrated as National Cinema Day on September 23. Advance booking of the movie had already begun on the official website of ‘Book My Show’.
While ‘Adieu GODARD’ was released in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on September 2, it was released in Kolkata and Mumbai on September 9 and is successfully running in the cinema halls. This movie has already received an IMDb rating of 8 out of 10.
The film has been produced under the banner of Odisha-based production company Swastik Arthouse, in association with Kolkata-based Film Stop Entertainment and the French company Les Films de la Haute-Vallée.
With Choudhury Bikas Das in the lead, the star cast includes Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Sudharsri Madhusmita, Swastik Choudhury, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Shankar Basu Mallick, and Abhishek Giri.
At the 27th Kolkata International Film Festival, the film won the Best film in the Indian Languages competition category. Besides, it also visited the 43rd Moscow International Film Festival, 26th Split Film Festival 2021, Croatia, 26th International Film Festival of Kerala 2022, and several others.
