Bhubaneswar: FLO Bhubaneswar Chapter celebrated National Doctors Day on Thursday by felicitating more than 1,300 COVID warriors at Capital Hospital in the city.
Those felicitated included doctors, nurses and other support medical staff at the hospital.
Deputy Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Anshuman Rath and Additional Commissioner of BMC Laxmikanta Sethy felicitated the COVID warriors by presenting them with ‘Happiness kits’ and goodies.
FLO Bhubaneswar Chairman CS Sunita Mohanty said, “We are felicitating and celebrating this day to honour the entire medical community who are God’s messengers to save human lives.”
