Playing their opening match in Pool E, Odisha rode hat-tricks from Amandeep Lakra (2nd minute, 46th, 49th) and Sudeep Chirmako (17th, 48th, 58th) to an 11-1 win at Chennai’s Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium.
Ajay Kumar Ekka (15th, 26th) netted a brace while Matiyas Dang (9th), Kerobin Lakra (29th) and Rajat Akash Tirkey (50th) scored a goal each. Rajasthan captain Vijendra Singh got a consolation goal when his side had already conceded 10.
