Bhubaneswar: Experienced Odisha athlete Divya Shandilya won the silver in Women’s Hammer Throw event at the 64th National Open Athletics Championships in Ranchi.
The 27-year-old Divya thus repeated her second-place finish at the Indian Open meet held at Punjab’s Sangrur in July.
Adding to Odisha’s medal tally, Swadhin Majhi claimed a bronze medal in Men’s High Jump with a leap of 2.14 metres on Monday, while the Men’s 4x100m Relay team of Amiya Mallick, Abhinash Sahu, Sarun Payasingh and DM Jayaram also bagged bronze at Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Stadium.
