Bhubaneswar: Odisha won four medals, including one Gold and three Silver, on the second day of National Para Athletics Championships 2026 being held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
While Jayprakash Barik clinched the Gold medal in Men’s Long Jump T36 event, Jadunath Majhi, Jayanti Behera and Managat Hembrom won a Silver medal each in Men’s 400m T11, Women’s 400m T47 and Men’s Long Jump T13 events respectively.
Odisha’s strong showing on the second day continues an impressive streak from the first day when it bagged five medals which includes two Gold, one Silver and two Bronze, according to an official release.
This has taken the totally tally of medals by Odia athletes to nine, so far.
