National Para Athletics: Odisha’s Jayanti Sprints To Golden Double; Prafulla Adds Silver

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ace athlete Jayanti Behera completed a golden double at the 4th Indian Open National Para Athletics Championship at Bengaluru’s Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Friday.

The 23-year-old sprinter added the women’s T-47 200m gold to yesterday’s 100m win.

Prafulla Khandayatray took Odisha’s medal count to 4 as he secured silver in men’s wheelchair F-54 javelin. He finished second by throwing the javelin to a distance of 20.18m.
