Angul: Training on various safety issues were conducted and competitions organised by Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) during the observation of National Safety Week in Odisha’s Angul.
Organised on the Angul plant premises, competitions on Safety Quiz, Safety Slogan and Poster, JSA, Spot the Hazard, Safety Talk etc with organised and winners were presented awards.
The 50th National Safety Week valedictory programme held on Thursday was attended by Asst. Director of Factories & Boilers Archana Dash, ED-Angul Hridayeshwar Jha and Factory Manager Damodar Mittal.
Hridayeshwar administered the Safety Pledge and emphasised on building a fool-proof and Zero Harm culture in JSPL. “Safety is our value and we have to constantly work towards a safer workplace”, he said.
Damodar said “Zero harm is our target and by improving safety standards we can make our plant a best place to work”.
Among others, Head-HR & ES Ravi Shankar; Head-CGP AN Tiwari and Head-SMS Atul Dubey also addressed the gathering.
General Manager -Safety Navin Gautam presented the safety report and details about the safety protocols in place.
