Amritsar: Satyabati Khadia scored once in each session to power Odisha to a 2-0 victory over Chandigarh and help them seal a semifinal berth in the Senior National Women’s Football championship.
Thanks to Satyabati’s goals in the 27th and 87th minute, Odisha finished second in Group A with 12 points in 5 matches. Tamil Nadu topped the group with an all-win record and 15 points.
Odisha will face Group B toppers Haryana in the semifinal on June 26. The first semifinal will pit Tamil Nadu against Railways.
