Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appealed to the residents of Bhubaneswar to participate in citizens’ feedback in Swachh Survekshan 2023.
In a video release on Tuesday, the chief minister said as a heritage city, Bhubaneswar is known for its cleanliness and green environment in the country. The people of Bhubaneswar have contributed a lot in this regard besides cooperating in development of the city.
“Bhubaneswar is included in the Swachh Survekshan for 2023. As a resident of Bhubaneswar, I have given my feedback in support of the city. I request to participate in the survey by submitting your feedback in favour of Bhubaneswar in SBM urban portal. I hope with participation of all of us, Bhubaneswar will top the list of cities in the Swachh survey in the country,” he said.
It may be noted that the 8th edition of world’s largest urban swachhata survey, Swachh Survekshan 2023 was launched by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) with the field assessment in June.
Swachh Survekshan was introduced by the Ministry in 2016, with an objective on sanitation, to help the cities achieve the goal of sustainable sanitation and waste management in a fast-track competitive manner.
