Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik has approved appointment of 81 candidates as medical officers in the state.
The candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe communities had undergone counselling after clearing the OPSC examination for filling up Group A (junior branch) posts of Odisha Medical and Health Services (OMHS).
The selected candidates include 47 from SC community and 34 from ST. They will be appointed as medical officers in community health centres (CHCs) in the state.
