Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved Rs 7,00,58,000 aid to help people in Puri district to rebuild their houses damaged by Cyclone Fani.
The assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund will help 8000 families, the CM’s office tweeted on Friday.
These families were not eligible to get assistance under the State Disaster Response Fund.
Out of the beneficiaries, 7,400 families whose houses were completely damaged will get Rs 10,000 each. The remaining will get Rs 3,000 each to restore their partially damaged houses, the tweet said.
