Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday dedicated two web portals to the people of Odisha.
Speaking on the occasion of inauguration of the Public Grievances Redressal portal of Electronics and IT Department and the portal of Odia Virtual Academy established by the Odia Language Literature and Culture Department, Naveen said the portals aim at reaching the services of the government at the doorsteps of the people.
Stating that all programmes of the government are directed towards welfare of the people he said, “We want to reach out to you with the help of technology under the 5T initiative of governance.”
The new portals will help the government achieve the objective, he said adding that people will no more have to go to the offices for redressal of their grievances in both departments.
Among others, Electronics and IT Minister Tusharkanti Behera, chief secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and development commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena were present. Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian coordinated the programme.
