Naveen Gets Land On Moon As Birthday Gift; Know The Fan Who Donated It

Paradip: As a mark of his love and respect for Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, a young social worker has gifted him a piece of land in moon on his birthday. Naveen turned 75 on Saturday.

The social activist, Prabir Kumar Pradhan of Kujanga area in Paradip of Jagatsinghpur district, has bought three acres of land in moon in the name of Naveen Patnaik.

“I mobilised all my efforts and tapped the sources to buy the land in the last three months. Though I succeeded in my efforts and purchased the land in the name of our chief minister, I was waiting for his birthday to present it as a gift,” said Prabir.

He further said he has gifted the land on moon to Naveen by posting in twitter. “When the pandemic situation will be normal, I will meet the Chief Minister to give all the documents,” he said adding that he will also donate Rs 25,000 to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

“I am a big fan of our Chef Minister. He is honest and dedicated to the people of Odisha,” said Prabir.

Prabir had bought the land patches from Luna Society International, an American organisation that sells lunar real estate. Working in IFFCO in Paradip, he has gifted his wife and daughter two patches of land on moon earlier.

Naveen did not celebrate his birthday this year in view of COVID pandemic. But wished poured in for him from people across the country including the prime minister.
