Rairangpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday visited Rairangupur in Mayurbhanj districts and inaugurated 21 developmental projects, besides laying the foundation stones of 15 projects.
The Chief Minister inaugurated two high-level bridges over Jaumara Nullah and Balijor Nullah in Bangiriposi and Saraskana block respectively and two high-level bridges over Chhamadadihi Nullah and Guria Nullah in Rairangpur block.
He inaugurated a 50-bedded ward of Karanjia sub-divisional government hospital and a 30-bedded maternity and pediatrics ward at the community health centre (CHC) at Thakurmunda. He also launched six rural piped water supply projects in Rairangpur block and nine rural piped water supply projects in Raruan block.
The CM also laid the foundation stones for 15 welfare projects worth Rs 960.34 crore
Naveen graced the Mission Shakti convention and handed over Rs 15,000 seed money to 7453 women self-help groups (SHGs), Rs 25 lakh to each block level women’s federation and Rs 3000 to 7467 women SHGs as part of the digital empowerment.
