Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik on Friday began campaigning in the Puri Lok Sabha constituency, after completing his campaign for the first and second phase polls.
The chief minister arrived at Ranpur in Nayagarh district in a helicopter and addressed a public meeting. From Ranpur, he left for Nayagarh town and campaigned for his party candidate there. Thereafter, he is scheduled to visit Chilika and Banapur constituencies and address two public meetings.
From Chilika, the chief minister will head for Satapada in Brahmagiri block from where he will conduct a road show up to Puri town. He will arrive in Puri at 1.30 pm and take rest at the Circuit House. At 3pm, he will leave for Jagannath temple for a darshan of the deities. After the darshan, he will begin a road show from Marichikot Chhak along the Bada Danda (Grand Road) and address a public meeting there.
In the evening, he will conduct a road show from Puri to Bhubaneswar.
