Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday laid foundation stone for 4 major development projects in Ekamra Assembly constituency in Bhubaneswar.
The chief minister laid the foundation stones at a function organised in Lingipur panchayat of the constituency. The projects will be executed at different places in the constituency with a cost of Rs 159.29 crore.
Those include water storage facility inside river at Dhauli and Tikarpada with a cost of Rs 77.74 crore, two-lane road on right side of Daya canal in Lingipur, Itipur and Tikarapada with a budget of Rs 22 crore.
Besides, a major pipe water supply project will come up at Kamena un Basuaghai for the people of 7 panchayats with a cost of Rs 42.55 crore and a 33/11 KV electric sub-station will be constructed with Rs 17 crore in Itipur panchayat.
