Wishing the vibrant Odia community a Happy New Year!
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday wished all Odias on the occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti, the first day of the Odia New Year.
“Extend my greetings and best wishes on Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Odia New Year. Let the new year be a year of happiness and prosperity for all of us”, the Chief Minister tweeted.
Apart from this, he also paid tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also greeted the people of the state on the occasion.
“Wishing the vibrant Odia community a Happy New Year!,” Modi tweeted. “This Maha Vishuba Sankranti, may all your wishes come true. Praying for everyone’s well-being and happiness,” he added.
