Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik is set to leave for New Delhi on April 10 to be with his elder brother Prem Patnaik, who underwent a major heart surgery on Tuesday.
As per sources, Prem Patnaik is currently recovering in a private hospital in the national capital under the supervision of a team of cardiologists. His condition is stated to be stable but requires close medical monitoring.
Naveen, who is also the leader of opposition (LoP) in the Odisha Assembly, been in Bhubaneswar, is likely to spend a few days with his family members in the national capital during his brother’s recovery following the surgery.
