Bhubaneswar: After arriving in Odisha capital, eminent music director A R Rahman on Friday met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his residence here.
According to sources, they discussed music particularly conservation of traditional and tribal musical instruments and digitisation of traditional and tribal music.
The Chief Minister praised Rahman for his landmark creations, ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘Bande Matarm’. He suggested the music maestro to visit Tribal Museum.
Rahman spoke very highly of the City of Temples and thanked the Chief Minister for hosting this prestigious hockey world cup in Bhubaneswar.
