Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 27.75 crore for including all colleges in Sambalpur district under 5T Transformation programme of the Odisha government.
This was stated by 5(T) secretary VK Pandian during a visit to Sambalpur on Saturday. He interacted with the college students in the city and informed them about the chief minister’s approval of the fund for transformation of 59 colleges in the district.
He participated in a public grievance redressal meeting in Kuchinda and interacted with the people. He also participated in similar programmes at Rengali and Sambalpur.
Pandian also went to Maa Ghanteswari Temple and discussed its development and pilgrim facilities with the servitors and devotees.
R Vineel Krishna, special secretary to CM; Deepak Kumar, IG; Ananya Das, collector; Mukesh Kumar Bhamoo, SP and senior officials of the district were present during the visit.
