Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday sanctioned Rs 500 crore for repair of roads and drainage system in urban areas.
The chief minister sanctioned the fund considering that fact that roads, drainage channels, sewers and footpaths in urban areas were damaged in the monsoon.
Naveen has also directed to take up the repair works immediately and complete those before the onset of next monsoon in the state.
