Naveen To Take Stock Of Departments’ Performance In Last 2 Years From This Date

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will review performance of different departments from May 15 to 25.

In a letter to his Council of ministers, the chief minister said the BJD government will complete two years of its fifth term on May 29 and he will review the performance of the departments in fulfilling the BJD’s poll promises during the period.

The chief minister has told the ministers to present five major achievements of their respective departments in presence of the secretaries concerned during the review meeting.

Besides, the ministers will apprise the Chief Minister of the implementation of ‘Mo Sarkar’ and 5T in their departments and how it has benefited the officials as well as the people.

Stating that people have the final say in a democracy, Naveen said accountability of any government towards them tops the agenda of the party. “We have to give an account to the people how far we have succeeded in fulfilling the responsibility they have assigned to us,” he said.
