Patiala: Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has been lodged in Barrack No.10 at the central jail in Patiala, was taken to a hospital for a medical check-up on Monday morning.
He was taken to Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, news agency ANI reported.
On May 19, the Supreme Court had awarded cricketer-turned-politician one-year jail in a 1988 road rage case, in which Patiala resident Gurnam Singh had died, while reviewing its May 2018 order exonerating him.
