Mumbai: Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya recorded her statement under Section 164 of the CrPC against her husband and his family members in connection with the molestation case.
Aaliya revealed before the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) court how the actor’s brother had molested a family member in 2012, according to a PTI report.
However, the actor’s brother Saifuddin Siddiqui refuted the allegations and claimed that Aaliya was trying to extort money from Nawaz by levelling molestation charges.
Nawazuddin’s brother further stated that he will be approaching the Bombay High Court for a fair trial in the case.
