Bhubaneswar: With 14 more new COVID-19 positive cases reported from Ganapati Basti in Nayapalli under ward no-27 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the area has been declared as containment zone.
According to a BMC release, the areas from Bairagi Charan Mission to Tarini temple, from Tarini temple to Annapurna Mandap, and from Annapurna Mandap to Bairagi Charan Mission come under the containment zone.
The government and private institutions in the area will remain closed, people in the zone are not allowed to come out nor outsiders will go inside the restricted area, and the BMC will supply the essential items including the medicines to the people in need, a notification of the BMC stated.
