Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Sunday appointed NBS Rajput, 1999-batch IAS officer, as principal secretary to governor Raghubar Das.
Rajput, who was on central deputation, will replace Saswat Mishra who was given additional charge of two key departments – Finance and Energy in the first bureaucratic reshuffle at the senior level on July 10.
The notification issued by General Administration department also mentioned about appointment of Mishra, a 1996-batch officer, as Principal Secretary, Finance department. He will continue to serve as Principal Secretary of Energy department, and also as chairman of Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission, it added.
