Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) investigating the Bollywood drug nexus cannot arrest Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash till November 7.
According to a report in NDTV, a special court in Mumbai has granted interim relief to Karishma after the latter applied for anticipatory bail in the drug case.
Now, Karishma can appear before the NCB for interrogation, but the investigating agency cannot arrest her till November 7.
The NCB had raided a property linked to Karishma and seized some illegal substance from her home.
Following the raid, the agency had issued summons to her. However, Deepika’s manager had missed summons from the agency and was absconding from NCB interrogation till now.
Earlier, Deepika too was summoned by the NCB in the drug nexus case. The actress had appeared before the agency and was released after interrogation.
