Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has given a clean chit to Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s alleged drug party video that had raised eyebrows post-Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise.
According to a report in Zee News, NCB officials didn’t find anything suspicious in the viral party video, which was uploaded by KJo on social media during a house party in 2019.
Moreover, the NCB officials further stated that the ‘white line’ in the viral video, which was alleged to be ‘drugs’, was merely a reflection of a tube light and nothing else.
Last month, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa had lodged a complaint with the NCB Chief, alleging that celebs in the viral video consumed drugs at the party hosted by KJo.
Singh demanded a probe in the viral party video of 2019 and claimed that celebrities were promoting drugs by posting such videos on social media platforms.
However, post the allegations, Karan took to his social media handle to rubbish the allegations and said that neither does he consume drugs nor serves them at his house parties.
