New Delhi: Unidentified persons on Friday murdered Nationalist Congress Party (NCP)-Ajit Pawar faction leader Sachin Kurmi. According to the initial report, Sachin Kurmi was murdered with a sharp-edged weapon behind the MHADA colony in Mumbai’s Byculla area, Livemint reported.
Mumbai Police has said in a statement that a case has been registered and further investigation into the murder is underway.
It said, “NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Sachin Kurmi was murdered by unidentified persons with a sharp-edged weapon in Mumbai’s Byculla area last night. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.”
Police have stated that it remains unclear who was responsible for the attack on Sachin Kurmi. They believe that 2 to 3 individuals were involved in the incident.
