Bhubaneswar: The National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled (NCSCDA), under Directorate General of Employment (DGE), Union Ministry of Labour & Employment, conducted a free job drive for Hearing Impaired persons with disabilities (PwDs) at its office campus in Pokhariput here on Friday.
The drive, under the supervision of Sonalika Suman, Psychologist/Head of Office, and with cooperation of other staff members of the centre, saw 9 out of 25 Hearing Impaired PwDs job-seekers being shortlisted.
There were 30 vacancies for different posts in Flipkart, Max and Vmart.
Suman thanked Youth 4 Jobs Foundation for their noble goal in providing inclusive opportunities for PwDs in different organizations and requested them to participate in more such events conducted by NCSCDA, Bhubaneswar.
