Following her controversial statement on reality show ‘Roadies Revolution’, actress Neha Dhupia finally broke her silence over the trolls and stated that it was unfair to drag her family into the row.
The actress took to Twitter to clear the air and wrote that her comment on the show is being misinterpreted. She had lashed out at the male contestant for slapping his girlfriend and had taken a stand against ‘domestic violence’ and not adultery. Adultery is a moral choice of the person involved in it, she added.
When domestic violence is a major issue in our country, it is important for everyone to take a stand against it to bring an end to it, stated the 39-year-old actress.
Venting her heart out, Neha stated that it is unacceptable to drag her daughter Meher and her loved ones into the controversy.
Many Bollywood bigwigs took to Twitter to express solidarity with Neha and raise their voice against violence.
Karan Johar wrote, “Neha, we are all with you.”
Sonam Kapoor wrote, “People are gross. I’m sorry about the hate.”
Ayushman Khuranna wrote, “Discuss, Debate, Don’t spread hate.”
On the reality show, Neha had slammed a male contestant for hitting his girlfriend who was in a relationship with five men at the same time.
