Over 130 youths participated in the event and officials who took active part in ‘Clean India’ on Sunday were felicitated.
NYK Khurda has been able to collect and dispose of 14,358 kg single use plastic waste from October 1-31 with the support of district administration, youth volunteers of NYKS and NSS besides students of various schools and colleges.
The event was attended by Rita Bhagat, RD, NYKS Eastern Region; Samir Das, Assistant Collector, Bhubaneswar; Dr. Arunima Pati, Assistamt Archaeologist, ASI, Bhubaneswar; Vipin Kumar, Khurda District Youth Officer, NYK; Sushant Pattnaik,NSS-PO, KNWC College, Bhubaneswar and Gopinath Sethy, fitness coach.
