Mumbai: Debutant Veer Pahariya, who impressed critics in the Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Sky Force,’ became a target of trolls for a particular dance step in the song ‘Rang.’
However, instead of getting upset over the memes and trolls, the actor thanked haters for making him viral.
In this particular dance sequence, Veer is seen jumping on one leg around his onscreen wife, actress Sara Ali Khan.
In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Veer shared that the online trolling made him popular and helped him get work.
The actor further shared that he was invited as a celebrity guest in two weddings and was asked to do the ‘langdi wali’ dance step with the bride.
His viral dance step and trolling also earned him a hot date.
“Jo troll karne waale hain unko main please wish karunga ki aur troll karein, taaki mujhe aur shaadiyan milein aur main note kamau. I would request the haters to troll me more so that I can get more wedding invitations and work.”
Netizens then started comparing Veer with Urvashi Rautela, who became a butt of jokes for her weird statements and interviews after the success of ‘Daaku Maharaaj.’
One internet user wrote, “Yeh to Urvashi Rautela ka Guru nikla 🙏🏻 Gurujiiiiiiii humein bhi confidence ki booti pradaan karien 🙏🏻.”
Another commented, “Urvashi Rautela has met her match 😅😅😅.”
“Ladies and Gentleman!! We have Urvashi Part 2 !!!” joked one person.
“”langdi wali step kari hai” lmaooo. and performing in weddings is every actor’s dream? paharganj aap toh delulu hai,” was another response.
