Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 3,067 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, recording a dip from the 3,235 cases on Monday.
Among the new cases reported from all 30 districts, 1,809 are from quarantine centres and 1,258 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda led the tally with 555 new cases followed by Cuttack (230), Puri (178), Balasore (146), Mayurbhanj (143), Angul (129), Sambalpur (98), Jharsuguda (96), Kendrapada (94), Dhenkanal (91), Nuapada (85), Jagatsinghpur (84), Kandhamal (81), Keonjhar (81), Balangir (78), Bargarh (69), Nayagarh (68), Sundargarh (62), Jajpur (60), Bhadrak (59), Nabarangpur (58), Koraput (55), Kalahandi (54), Boudh (45), Rayagada (41), Ganjam (34), Malkangiri (24), Sonepur (22), Gajapati (21) and Deogarh (15).
Besides, the state pool has 211 cases.
Of the 2,15,676 positive cases reported in the state so far, 37,210 are active cases and 1,77,585 patients have recovered.
