New COVID Cases Drop Below 450 In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw a further drop in daily COVID-19 cases with 424 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. On Sunday 566 people had tested positive for the virus.

On Saturday, the number was 592.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), of the new cases 55 are from quarantine and 369 local contact cases.

The last 24 hours also saw 1,295 patients getting cured of the disease. With this, Bhubaneswar now has 7,922 active cases.

The city also saw three more deaths during this period, which took the toll to 358.

The highest of 17 cases have been reported from Patia, followed by Jharpada (15), Nayapalli and Niladri Vihar (14 each), Dumduma and Old Town (12 each), Chandrasekharpur, Unit-8, VSS Nagar and Patrapada (10 each).
