Bhubaneswar: The COVID cases in Odisha capital continued to seesaw with 283 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 327 infections on Wednesday.
The capital city had reported 295 cases on Tuesday.
Of the new cases, 61 were from quarantine and 222 were local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in its tweet.
Nayapalli registered highest of 21 cases, followed by Khandagiri (20), Patia (13) and Old Town (12).
The city logged 234 recoveries while there are 1,192 active cases. The number of deceased has touched 573 with 21 more deaths registered in the city during the period.
A total of 93,097 patients have recovered from the virus and the total cases are 94,883.
