Bhubaneswar: New direct flights will start operation from Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda airports to several destinations in the country will begin soon.
This was stated by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in his official handle on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday. The chief minister, in his post, said new domestic flights will operate from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar and Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda soon.
The airlines will operate their direct flights from Bhubaneswar airport to Indore, Dehradun, Kochi, Jaipur and Lucknow.
Similarly, the flight operators will provide services from Jharsuguda to Hyderabad, Raipur, Lucknow and Mumbai, the post on CMO said.
The chief minister said the new direct flights will further strengthen the communication network thereby strengthening the state’s road to development.
