Bhubaneswar: Due to the death of former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday, the inauguration programme for the Odia-scripted unreserved train tickets at Rail Sadan here has been cancelled.
Also on Saturday, the Junagarh Road-Bhuabaneswar-Junagarh Road Express will be flagged off from Junagarh Road in the afternoon. The flag off will be conducted without any speech or celebrations as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
The train will be flagged off because the schedule has already been announced and people have booked their tickets.
Earlier, the train was running jointly with the Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express between Bhubaneswar and Rayagada from both directions and got separated at Rayagada while going towards Jagadalpur and Junagarh Road.
