Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway Central Hospital, here has opened a new OPD complex to segregate the patients coming for outdoor consultation from the indoor patients so that spread of COVID-19 can be prevented on the premises.
General manager, East Coast Railway (ECoR) Vidya Bhusan inaugurated the New OPD Complex and Renovated Operation Theatre (OT) at the Railway Central Hospital on Friday. The OT Complex has been renovated for augmenting the tertiary level care in surgical services at the hospital.
Health workers and other staff of the hospital engaged in taking care of COVID patients were felicitated on the occasion.
Additional general manager Sudhir Kumar, Principal Chief Medical Director KC Sahoo, Medical Director of Central Hospital AK Sethi along with other principal heads of the departments were also present.
