Bhubaneswar: People aged 18 years and above in the Odisha capital will now be administered the first dose of the COVID vaccine in the morning session and the second dose in the afternoon session.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Sanjay Singh on Friday told the media that vaccination of people in the 45+ age group will continue during the afternoon session.
He further said that a notification in this regard will be issued soon.
Notably, those in the 18-44 age group, who had received the first jab between May 3 and May 14, are currently being administered the second dose. This will continue till June 12.
