Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce a new train between Jasidih in Jharkhand and SMVT, Bengaluru that will have stoppages at Bhadrak and Bhubaneswar in Odisha and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
On regular service, 22306 Jasidih-SMVT, Bengaluru Super Fast Express will leave Jasidih at 6.30 am every Friday from September 30. In the return direction, 22305 SMVT, Bengaluru-Jasidih Super Fast Express will leave SMVT, Bengaluru at 10 am every Sunday from October 2.
The train will have stoppages at Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam under the jurisdiction of East Coast Railway (ECoR) and will stop at important stations like Asansol, Durgapur, Barddhaman, Kharagpur, Balasore, Nellore, Perambur, Katpadi and Jolarpettai between Jasidih and Bengaluru on both directions.
The train will have one 1st AC, four AC-2 tier, 10 AC-3 tier, two Sleeper Class, two Second Class Seating, a pantry car and two guard, luggage and generator cars.
On inaugural run on September 23, the Train will leave Jasidih at 3.30 pm and run as a Special Train from Jasidih to SMVT, Bengaluru.
