Bhubaneswar: With lockdown restrictions being eased, the State Transport Authority (STA) has allowed registration of new vehicles in Sundargarh, Rourkela, Nuapada and Gajapati RTOs.
Vehicle showrooms in these three districts will reopen from June 1.
“All types of shops excluding malls. market complex, weekly hats, salons, barbershop. spa. beauty parlour shall remain open in Sundargarh, Nuapada and Gajapati districts from 7 am to 1 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday). In this context. automobile dealers may open their showroom coming under your jurisdiction,” the letter said.
The Regional Transport Officers of Sundargarh, Rourkela, Nuapada and Gajapati have been instructed to allow the dealers to have access to the VAHAN portal for registration of new motor vehicles from June 1 till further orders, it added.
