Newborn Boy Rescued In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: A newborn boy was found dumped in bushes in Morada area of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Sunday.

As per reports, a local woman heard a child’s cries and found the baby in bushes. She took the child home and informed an Anganwadi worker.

Local women healthcare personnel took the child to a nearby hospital in Morada. The boy’s condition is normal, said the health worker.

After administering necessary treatment the hospital has referred the baby to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital, Baripada, where he will be kept in Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU).
