Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, a newly-married woman allegedly committed suicide hours after her husband died in a road accident in the district.
According to sources, Dillip Nayak and Nisha Dehury of Harekrishnapur village in the district had got married six months back after falling in love with each other. On Thursday, while Dillip was returning home from Gondia, he met with an accident on National Highway and died on the pot.
After Nisha came to know about Dillip’s death he reportedly committed suicide in her in-law’s house.
On being informed, Dhenkanal Sadar police went to Harekrishnapur and filed an unnatural death case. Further investigation is on.
