Newly-Married Woman Found Dead In Odisha’s Balasore; Family Alleges Murder

Balasore: A newly-married woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Odisha’s Balasore with her family members alleging that she was murdered.

The incident was reported from Sahadebkhunta area of Balasore town on Saturday. The woman, who had got married over two years ago, was found hanging from the ceiling inside her room, sources said.

The woman, identified as Itishree, had got married to Rajesh Panda of Sahadebkhunta over two years ago. She has reportedly left behind a letter addressed to her husband.

While the reason behind the extreme step taken by the woman was yet to be ascertained, her family members alleged that she was murdered and her body hung from the ceiling of the room. They further alleged that she was being harassed by her in-laws. and that there was strangulation mark around her neck

However, the in-laws of the deceased woman dismissed the allegation and claimed that the couple had been leading a happy and harmonious married life.
