Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s capital is among 12 cities selected by the Ministry of Electronics and IT for implementation of the next generation incubation scheme (NGIS) to support innovative enterprises, a step set to boost start-ups in Odisha.
The other Tier-II cities selected for the scheme are Agartala, Bhilai, Bhopal, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mohali, Patna and Vijayawada.
Entrusted to Software Technology Park of India (STPI), NGIS will support 300 start-ups engaged in software product development.
