Puri: With night curfew coming into force in Odisha from Saturday, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has decided not to allow the devotees into the 12th-century shrine from 8 pm.
“As the night curfew in Puri will begin from 9 pm, the devotees will not be allowed to enter the temple from 8 pm onwards. Besides, the devotees who have entered the temple before 8 pm will have to leave the premises by 8.30 pm,” SJTA Administrator (Development) Ajay Kumar Jena told the media on Saturday.

Night curfew is being imposed in all urban areas of 20 districts from 9 pm to 5 am.
However, the timing of the curfew in 10 districts, bordering Chhatisgarh, is 6 pm to 5 am.
