Bhubaneswar: The night temperature dropped further in Odisha with Semiliguda in Koraput district recording 12.2 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre informed on Tuesday.
Koraput was close second at 12.8 degree Celsius followed by Daringbadi and G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district at 13 and 13.2 degree Celsius. Phulbani also in Kandhamal recorded 15.1 degree Celsius. The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack saw below normal night temperature at 20.2 and 20 degree Celsius.
After a brief dry spell, the state is also likely to experience light to moderate rain from November 1 under the influence of eastward movement of waves on Bay of Bengal.

Light to moderate rain/ thunderstorm may occur at one or two places in South Coastal Odisha, Rayagada, Koraput, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur
NOVEMBER 2
Light to moderate rain/ thunderstorm is likely at one or two places in Coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput districts
NOVEMBER 3
Light to moderate rain/ thunderstorm may occur at a few places in Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Rayagada and at one or two places in remaining parts of the state.
NOVEMBER 4
Light to moderate rain/ thunderstorm very likely to occur at a few places in Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati and at one or two places in Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh and Kandhamal.
There will be little change in the weather condition in the subsequent two days and no large change in both maximum and minimum temperature at many places in Odisha during next 5 days, the weather agency added.
