Bhubaneswar: The winter chill has returned to Odisha with the night temperature dropping below 15°C at several places across the state in the last 24 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Saturday.
Jharsuguda recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 5.6°C followed by Rourkela (Sundarhgarh) at 6°C, G Udayagiri (Kandhamal), and Sundargarh at 7°C, and Similiguda (Koraput) at 7.3°C.
The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 11.5°C and 11°C respectively.
